Brooke Blackwell - Little Rock, AR

Brooke Blackwell was raised in Hope, but soon moved to Hot Springs during high school to attend the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences, and the Arts. Upon graduation, she attended Baylor University where she pursed a degree in Medical Humanities. During her studies, she realized she was better suited for a legal career than a medical career. After graduating from Baylor, she attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law.

While attending law school, Blackwell worked at Rainwater, Holt & Sexton as a law clerk where she was trusted to work on the firms most complicated legal issues. After working alongside RHS attorneys for two years and witnessing their dedication and compassion, she knew she wanted to join their ranks. Upon admission to the Arkansas State Bar, Blackwell joined the firm as an attorney and continues Rainwater, Holt & Sexton’s legacy of dedicated and compassionate legal representation.

Blackwell was attracted to a legal career because she believes in treating others the way she wants to be treated. This belief in the ‘Golden Rule’ led her to personal injury because in every case, someone did not exhibit the amount of care towards others that they should have displayed. Luckily, the law offers remedies for such carelessness. She believes that as an attorney, it is her responsibility to zealously pursue those remedies on her client’s behalf.

In her free time, Blackwell can be found with friends, family, or her three cats – Lola, Olive, and Owen.
