Overview
Jeff Priebe is a native Arkansan born and raised in Mountain Home, Arkansas. After graduating from Mountain Home High School, he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture Business in 1998 and a Juris Doctorate in 2001, both from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.
After passing the bar exam in 2001, he served as an Assistant Attorney General under then-Attorney General’s Mark Pryor and Mike Beebe. After his tenure at the Attorney General’s office, he became an in-house attorney to retired General Wesley Clark’s 2004 Presidential Campaign. He has practiced at national law firms including Armstrong Allen and Wilkes & McHugh. He later joined and was a partner with James, Carter, and Priebe law firm. At Rainwater, Holt & Sexton, Priebe works on nursing home litigation, representing those who have been mistreated by the nursing home industry. He also has experience in election law and other personal injury litigation.
In 2010, Priebe had the honor of being appointed by Governor Mike Beebe to serve as a Special Justice on the Arkansas Supreme Court. He also teaches election law as an adjunct professor at the UALR Law School.
Priebe is licensed to practice law in Arkansas, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, and before the United States Supreme Court. In addition, he is a member of the Arkansas Bar Association, a Board Member of the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association, and participates in various other legal organizations.
