Overview

Lloyd Warford began his career in 1988 as a deputy prosecuting attorney in Pulaski County, where he served as the Division Chief of the Prosecutors’ Drug Prosecution Unit and later the Division Chief of the Prosecutor's Gang Prosecution Unit. In the years since he left the prosecutor’s Office, he has served the people of this state as the Assistant Director of the State’s Division of Youth Services, as an Attorney with the Department of Human Services, a Pulaski County Public Defender, and from January 2015 until 2023 as a Deputy Attorney General and Director of the Arkansas Medicaid Fraud Control Unit.

The Arkansas Medicaid Fraud Control Unit includes two investigative and prosecution teams: the Medicaid Fraud and Elder Protection teams. The Elder Protection Team is responsible for prosecuting abuse, neglect, and exploitation in long term care facilities and for enforcing the civil maltreatment statutes of the state of Arkansas. Under Lloyd’s leadership, the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit obtained 203 convictions and 191 civil settlements, with court orders and settlements totaling more than 81 million dollars.

Lloyd has been a leader throughout his career. Lloyd served as chairman of the Drug Control Committee of the Arkansas Prosecuting Attorneys Association. He was elected and served on the Board of Directors of the Arkansas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and nationally on the Executive Committee of the National Association of Medicaid Fraud Control Units.

As an attorney at Reddick Law PLLC, he now focuses on nursing home abuse and neglect litigation, representing his clients and their families in all stages of the litigation and arbitration processes.

Lloyd is proud to be a military dependent (Air Force Brat) and loves military history. Lloyd’s father is a Vietnam veteran and retired Air Force officer. Lloyd’s grandfather was a World War II veteran and a First Special Services Force member. He is proud to have served ten years in the Army Reserves. He loves deer hunting, and he and his wife, Mandy Weir Warford, are avid musical theater fans and do what they can to help support several local community theaters. Lloyd is blessed to have three children and four grandchildren.
