Hired Law firm 2013-2014Sadly my marriage ended. I am grateful to have had Mr. Hoffer as my attorney. He is extremely knowledgeable and aggressive while economizing the process to keep the fees down. Divorce is a horrible thing for anyone to go through, and making decisions is difficult. Mr. Hoffer is not only a strong advocate, but wise and understanding counselor, a skill many other lawyers forget about. He guided me in my decisions on how to protect and enforce my legal rights to the maximum while honoring my wishes not to make the divorce into thermonuclear war. Neither my ex wife nor I wanted a battle. My ex's attorney, however, did. Perhaps she was trying to get some extra billing? Jeff shut down my ex's attorney without making an enemy of my ex. The litigation went smoothly, affordably, and fairly. Jeff negotiated a stipulated judgment that reflected the right result. Jeff was in constant communication with me, and responded to all of my questions. I have since referred several clients to Jeff, and they reported back to me that they were extremely happy with his representation.

Hired Law firm 2022-2023They picked up right away and I was able to connect with Jeff. From start to finish, this guy truly had my best interest at heart and I felt like he was on my side. It was complex and I wanted someone with experience. I'll only use him going forward with any family matters.

Hired Law firm 2020-2021Very poor ethics. Was colluding behind my back with the other lawyer. Never give advise (who does...?) Just pretend helping while being highly unethical (he made me use the other lawyer "expert" explaining it could help ,owering cost and then boom they became court expert because it was the other lawyer goal once I had sign some kind of agrement, and then too bad for me,I have a court expert who works for the oteyr party! He wouls then say he knew someone who could be an expert for me anyway RIGHT????) . Absolute SHAME on him. Avoid him especially for contentious cases.
