Jordan's practice focuses on complex international litigation involving unfair competition law (including California Business & Professions Code sections 17200 et seq.), the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO), the Alien Tort Statute, the Torture Victim Protection Act, as well as sovereign immunity, maritime law, choice-of-law, and constitutional standing issues. He also has worked on corporate criminal investigations implicating the federal bribery statute.
Jordan's pro bono practice includes asylum matters, employment cases, and criminal defense work. He recently achieved a favorable settlement for a nonprofit rehabilitation center sued by a former employee.
