Overview
Mackenzie R. MacLean joined LeBeau-Thelen in 2025, following two summer clerkships in the firm’s medical malpractice division, where she now maintains her primary practice.
Ms. MacLean graduated in 2021 with Dean’s Honors from the University of California, Los Angeles, receiving a degree in English and minor in Public Affairs.
She went on to graduate with high honors from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly, UC Hastings) in 2025, achieving the rank of magna cum laude and membership in the UC Law Thurston Society. During law school, Ms. MacLean was awarded multiple CALI Excellence Awards for earning the highest grade in classes including Legal Research & Writing, Civil Pretrial Practice, Healthcare Providers & Law, Bioethics Law & Healthcare, and In-House Health Care Lawyering. Upon graduation, Ms. MacLean was also awarded membership in the Order of the Coif, a prestigious scholastic honor society for top law school graduates in the United States.
Ms. MacLean was admitted as a member of the California State Bar in 2025.
