Overview
Partner Paul Cook is an attorney at Simmons Hanly Conroy in the Los Angeles office. He focuses his practice on helping those affected by asbestos-related diseases, such as mesothelioma.
With more than 21 years of litigation experience, Paul has built his career advocating for consumers and individuals harmed by unsafe and reckless business practices. He has successfully secured numerous multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements on behalf of his clients.
“I work hard on the appellate and trial court levels to ensure all of the courts’ rulings are fair and just for our clients,” he said.
A California native, Paul graduated cum laude from California State University Northridge with his B.A. in political science in 1991. He received his J.D. in 1994 from California Western School of Law in San Diego, where he graduated cum laude. While in law school, Paul served as an intern for the Hon. William L. Todd, Justice of the California Court of Appeal, Fourth Dist., Div.1.
Paul has been a member of the California Bar since 1994. His comprehensive legal knowledge and expertise in his field makes him a frequent guest speaker at events such as the Harris-Martin Asbestos Litigation Conference.
Paul’s passion for his clients shows through his commitment to ensure that all court rulings are fair.
“The vulnerable and disadvantaged members of society have equal rights in a court of law,” he said. “At Simmons Hanly Conroy, I’m part of a team of lawyers and legal professionals dedicated to obtaining justice for consumers and individuals.”
