Ryan H. Fowler - El Segundo, CA

Mr. Fowler was raised in Northern California in the university town of Davis. From a young age, he was interested in the legal system and the profound effect it can have in peoples' lives. Mr. Fowler has been practicing law in the greater Los Angeles area for over 19 years. He has substantial experience in numerous fields of law. He has successfully litigated numerous cases on behalf of both Plaintiffs and Defendants.

Mr. Fowler started his career at a preeminent civil litigation firm representing seriously injured individuals against some of the biggest companies in the country, including auto manufacturers and pharmaceutical companies. Mr. Fowler gained invaluable experience both in and out of the courtroom and enjoyed representing clients who were mistreated or neglected by powerful interests. He took his next position representing employees in wage-and-hour class actions. Working with California's complicated labor laws was also invaluable experience. From 2008-2018, Mr. Fowler operated his own law firm, Fowler & Good LLP, focused on civil litigation and acting as outside General Counsel for numerous businesses. Mr. Fowler enjoyed helping businesses and watching them grow from an idea to a success, but also never stopped litigating on behalf of clients. After ten years operating his own firm, Mr. Fowler took an opportunity to move in-house for a leading national radiology company, focusing on litigation and counseling the upper-executives on all legal issues, risk management and employee matters. Working in-house for a Nasdaq-traded, public company, provided a great perspective on how major corporations deal with lawsuits. After three years working as a corporate in-house attorney, Mr. Fowler decided to make the move to Barrera & Associates, where he could again focus on representing seriously injured individuals and employees. Mr. Fowler has a passion for justice and takes great pride in being an attorney focused on helping people that have been wronged to achieve a fair and just result.

Mr. Fowler earned his B.A. from Saint Mary's College of California where he played Division 1 intercollegiate soccer and graduated on the Dean's List in 1999. Mr. Fowler then went on to receive his J.D. from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles in 2003, where he served in the Western Conflict Resolution Center helping low-income individuals resolve legal disputes. He was admitted to practice law in December 2003.

Mr. Fowler was named as a "Southern California Rising Star" for years 2012-2016 and was featured in Los Angeles Magazine and Super Lawyers Magazine as one of the premier lawyers in Southern California. He is a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles and member of the Sherman Oaks Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Fowler also has an interest in real estate and is a licensed California Broker.

Mr. Fowler is admitted to practice before all courts in the State of California and before the U.S. District Court in Northern, Central and Southern California.

Mr. Fowler is a sports junkie who loves to watch and attend sporting events, especially his own children's. There is no drama greater than an 8 year-old little league baseball game. He resides in Encino with his wife and their four sons.
