Overview
Kirkpatrick & Sabarsky LLP, based in Carlsbad, California, provides comprehensive legal counsel across business organizations, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, and contracts. We are equipped to guide clients through the transactions necessary to accomplish their business objectives, regardless of where their entity stands in its life cycle. Our goal is to help each client pursue their vision with clarity and confidence.
Innovative ideas can generate publicity, attract customers and draw investment – but sustaining that momentum requires far more than a groundbreaking product or service. It demands deliberate planning and inventive legal solutions to preserve and grow an enterprise over time. Our attorneys bring broad-based legal knowledge to bear on sophisticated business transactions, ensuring efficient, effective outcomes. Whether representing a newly formed company or a long-established organization, we work diligently to safeguard our clients' interests at every stage of their legal matters.
Our attorneys' varied professional experience strengthens the service we provide. Martin Sabarsky began his career at the international firm before transitioning to investment banking. He later served as in-house counsel for Diversa Corp. (NASDAQ: DVSA), a publicly traded biotechnology company, and went on to hold both CEO and CFO positions at a private company. Melissa Kirkpatrick spent several years in the renewable energy industry, including work in the industry, prior to pursuing her legal career. Before co-founding this firm, she operated a solo practice dedicated to streamlining complex transactions for prominent clients within leading organizations.
As business owners themselves, our attorneys understand the local, state and federal regulations shaping relationships with employees, suppliers, contractors and customers. We apply this insight to help clients reduce risk while identifying opportunities for growth. Consult with us to receive candid guidance tailored to your circumstances. Appointments are available in person or virtually, and we proudly serve clients throughout California and nationwide from our Encinitas office. We offer free initial consultations and accept credit card payments.
