Overview

Mr. Myers is an accomplished trial attorney with a strong background in the defense of high value personal injury, employment law, wrongful death cases and government tort liability. Throughout his career he has proven his ability to negotiate in mediation, arbitration, and complex multi-party matters. Mr. Myers has tried many cases before juries in counties throughout the state.

Mr. Myers is admitted to practice law before all the courts of the State of California, United States District Court for the Eastern, Northern, and Central Districts, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States Tax Court, and the United States Supreme Court.

Mr. Meyers earned his Juris Doctorate Degree from San Joaquin College of Law in 1980. After graduating from law school, he attended the Hastings College of Trial Advocacy. Mr. Myers also studied Mediation Skills and Settlement Conference Advocacy at the Pepperdine University School of Law, Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution in 2001.

In addition to work as an attorney, Mr. Meyers has been an adjunct faculty member of San Joaquin College of Law and an instructor at Hastings College of Law, Center for Trial and Appellate Advocacy. He also instructed on the Central California Adjuster's Association, Bad Faith Law and the American's with Disabilities Act. He has been featured as a lecturer on Public Agency Risk Manager's Business Institute, Contractual Indemnity and the effects of Howell v. Hamilton (2011) 52 Cal. 4th 541, the National Business. Institute, Litigation Paralegals Guide to Case Management; Lecturer on trial skills.
