Jonathan Cornelius Salvilla is an associate attorney at DeMaria Law Firm originally from Los Angeles, California. Jonathan’s practice is focused on insurance defense, school defense, employment defense, and public entity defense.

Jonathan graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature and a Master’s Degree in German from California State University, Long Beach. Jonathan also studied at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany.

Since attaining his Master’s degree, Jonathan has worked as an adjunct professor of languages at various institutions throughout Southern California, including California State University, Long Beach, the Beverly Hills Lingual Institute, Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles Valley College, and currently works as an adjunct professor of German at Cerritos College. Additionally, he has taught as an English teacher at secondary schools in Salzburg, Austria.

Jonathan graduated from Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles with a specialty in Criminal Law and Advocacy. Before joining the firm, Jonathan clerked at various branches of the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, including the Torrance Victim Impact Unit, the Long Beach Juvenile Department, and the Preliminary Hearing Unit at the Clara Foltz Criminal Justice Center, where he represented the State of California at preliminary hearings involving serious felonies. Jonathan also worked in criminal defense as a conflict attorney for Washoe County, Nevada.

Jonathan is licensed to practice law in the State of California, the State of Nevada, and the United States District Court, District of Nevada.
