    Hired Attorney 2021
Like the prior person, she totally misrepresented herself to me; she has NO EXPERIENCE in Divorce Proceedings and I told her upfront I needed someone who was well versed. As a result; I ended up in jail due to her lack of ability. I highly would do my pleadings personally rather than have her touch anything. She is clueless. I am filing a complaint with the licensee board of attorneys as she represented herself as a divorce attorney; as such I have ended up in jail because of her non-knowledge of divorce law. I plan on suing her. She is NOT A GOOD ATTORNEY! She takes your money and does nothing.

    Consulted Attorney 2021
You are genuinely better off getting a public defender. I met her outside the courthouse off of Eckoff. She does not know how to navigate the system. She is also extremely rude and yells at potential clients. I was willing to pay her 350$ an hour fee ad if she was willing to hear my story she would realize that I have a HUGE case regarding everything she works in. I'm even currently trying to work with a publisher to help document my story as I have been a victim of abuse for 30 years of my life and have have also been highly abused by the system that she so unfortunately cannot navigate. Had I had money I would have been a better attorney than her. You are genuinely better off calling a helpline and getting yourself a public defender. This lady is rude and she yelled at her potential client. Who knows what she assumed was going on with me, I am an epileptic who has not gotten the treatment they deserve and who needs to find someone to track down my medical records and Sue. I have multiple cases, one against Walgreens. One against the Huntington Beach Police Department. One against Social Services regarding medical kidnapping and HIPAA violations & manipulation of an outpatient. Please respond to this review if you are an attorney who would like to consult me about taking one of these cases. I will provide you evidence, I will provide you locations, I will provide you Field reports & incident numbers. And I will only work with a female who knows how to kill people with kindness. I will not work with a man as I have been molested by multiple men and raped by multiple men. My email is private but you can respond to this review if you would like to hear my story and help me track down the right resources to go after these criminals. Thanks and have a great day!

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
