Marcella’s practice focuses on commercial litigation, corporate transactions, government agency issues and creditors’ rights. Her clients mainly comprise of service businesses, manufacturers, and transportation businesses. She protects the rights of creditors in bankruptcy, including preference avoidance actions. She also deals with issues concerning the federal Stark and Anti-Kickback laws in addition to handling routine business matters for medical practices.
Marcella attended the University of Arizona, and graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Finance in 2000. She earned her juris doctor from the University of Arizona, James E. Rogers College of Law.
During law school, Marcella was an extern for the Honorable Gary E. Donahoe of the Maricopa County Superior Court. Upon graduation in 2004, she became a member of the Arizona Bar. After practicing with a complex civil litigation firm in Phoenix with an emphasis in construction law, she became a member of the California Bar and joined the firm in 2007.
