Overview
Rocio Ashby has been with McKasson & Klein LLP for over 15 years. Her experience includes a broad range of litigation and business matters, and she focuses on civil litigation representing domestic and foreign clients in contract, intellectual property and maritime disputes. She was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1999.
Rocio is fluent in Spanish. She was born in Central America and moved to the United States in the late 1980s. She earned an undergraduate degree in Political Science and Latin American Studies from Pitzer College, and graduated from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, in 1999. While in law school, Rocio served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Robert W. Alberts in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Central District, and was a conciliator at the Loyola Center for Conflict Resolution.
Rocio enjoys travel, reading, and spending time in the outdoors. She is active in her son’s school and volunteers her time as a member of the PTA and as a committee chair for its annual book fair. She served for four years on the board of directors of Helping Honduras Kids, a U.S. nonprofit organization devoted to improving the lives of underprivileged children in Honduras.
