Overview
Mr. Hill was an associate in the Lafayette office of Sassano and Fleischer. His practice involved complex workers’ compensation litigation.
His past practice has included applicant representation, and, for the last 15 years, defense work. He represented numerous self insured companies, third party administrators and public entities, including the State of California Courts in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties and the Self Insured Security Fund as well as insurance carriers and large retention insured corporations. He has also represented numerous companies in 132a and S&W litigation. He has litigated cases in all northern California offices of the Workers Compensation Appeals Board, primarily appearing in Oakland, San Francisco, Sacramento and Stockton and Salinas over the last 15 years.
He has been a guest lecturer on workers compensation developments and reform legislation.
Mr. Hill received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Davis, in 1966, and a law degree from Boalt Hall School of Law, University of California, Berkeley, in 1970.
Mr. Hill was a member of the California State Bar and was previously certified as a specialist in Workers Compensation Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization.
