When she isn't working, you can usually find Karina tackling a home renovation project with her partner Matthew or off on an adventure- traveling, hiking, scuba diving, backpacking, bicycle riding, or camping. Karina has climbed 2 of the 7 summits (the tallest mountains on each continent) and looks forward to climbing many more mountains in the years to come. She has also hiked the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, walked from Portugal to Spain along a section of the Camino de Santiago, traversed Santa Catalina Island via the Trans-Catalina Trail, backpacked the Lost Coast Trail along the rugged coastline of Northern California, and hiked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon in a heat wave and back up to the rim in a hailstorm. Basically, she loves a challenge! Karina is passionate about photography and loves to document her adventures. She particularly enjoys outdoor/adventure and landscape photography.
