    Consulted Law firm 2023
I consulted with this attorney in his office and it was the most bizarre meeting I have ever experienced. First of all, there are liqour bottles all over the place; that should've been the only red flag I needed to high tail it out of there. Then, he kept leering at my thirteen year old daughter who had accompanied me. She told me afterwards that he would smile and wink at her whenever I was distracted searching for a file in my briefcase. His knowledge of the law is so lacking that I cut the consultation short, realizing I was wasting my time and would never hire him to represent me for any matter. I'm suprised he has not been disbarred.

    Hired Law firm 2019-2020
Joshua Fine is probably the worst human being alive. Josh will take your money and never do what he says he will do. This is a person who was dishonorably discharged by the Marines. He pretends to be such a proud Marine but in reality he is a fraud. If this man could sell his own mother to the Hitler he would. NEVER HIRE JOSH!! Joshua M Fine should be disbarred.

Some lawyers publish comparative information regarding the services that they provide which may be subject to specific comparative communications restrictions.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
