Overview

Aaron Farkas is an Associate Attorney at the Berenji Law Firm. He focuses his practice on representing employees in discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and other workplace disputes. A seasoned litigator and trial attorney with over a decade of experience, Mr. Farkas manages cases through every phase of litigation, including trial. A committed advocate for workers’ rights, he pursues justice for his clients, bringing the fight to corporations, insurance companies, and governmental agencies.

Early in his career, Mr. Farkas developed his trial and advocacy skills as a Los Angeles County Deputy Public Defender. Over the course of his career, he has served as first or second chair in seven jury trials and three employment arbitration proceedings, consistently achieving favorable results. Most recently, he was instrumental in winning a $1.7 million award against Tesla in a hard-fought employment case.

Mr. Farkas earned his Juris Doctor degree from Southwestern Law School, where he received the Wildman/Schumacher Merit Scholarship throughout all years of his attendance. He also received CALI and Witkin awards for earning the highest grades in Constitutional Law and Constitutional Criminal Procedure. While in law school, Mr. Farkas served as Vice President of Southwestern’s Criminal Law Society, worked as a research and teaching assistant, taught practical legal principles to high school students through Southwestern’s Street Law Clinic, clerked for the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office and the Los Angeles Dependency Lawyers, and received Southwestern’s Public Interest Law Grant.

Prior to law school, Mr. Farkas received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz, where he studied History and Theatre Arts. During college, he was Vice President of a student community organization, Philanthropy Chair of his fraternity, and an actor in several theater productions.

Outside the office, Mr. Farkas enjoys traveling, gaming, and writing screenplays.
