Gabriela Perez has experience in a range of business and entertainment litigation matters. Her practice spans state and federal courts, and she has significant experience drafting complex motions, handling discovery, and representing clients in mediations, court proceedings, and trial.
Ms. Perez earned her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, graduating with honors in the Entertainment Advocacy concentration. During her time at Loyola, she held several leadership positions, including serving as President of La Raza de Loyola and Advocacy Chair for OutLaw, Loyola’s LGBTQ+ student organization. She was also awarded multiple prestigious scholarships, including those from the Mexican American Bar Foundation, the Hispanic Scholarship Fund, and the Latina Lawyers Bar Association. Additionally, Ms. Perez served as Note and Comment Editor for the Loyola of Los Angeles Entertainment Law Review and competed in national moot court competitions on behalf of the Loyola Law School Scott Moot Court Competition, earning accolades for her written briefs.
While in law school, Ms. Perez gained valuable industry experience as a Global Distribution Legal Intern at Comcast NBCUniversal. Prior to joining Singer Weinsten Wolf & Jonelis LLP, she also worked at a boutique litigation firm working on matters ranging from copyright, entertainment, and commercial disputes.
