Heather has been practicing law for more than 17 years and is admitted to the State Bar in California, New York, and New Jersey. Heather has focused her practice on Family Law litigation in California since 2008. Prior to 2008, Heather focused her practice on Elder Law and Estate Planning in New Jersey.
Heather obtained her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. Prior to attending law school, Heather received a Bachelor of Science degree in Writing for Television, Radio and Film from Syracuse University, S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, where she also minored in American History. After earning her undergraduate degree, Heather worked for several years in film and television.
Throughout her career, Heather has worked on a wide range of family law matters, including but not limited to divorce, annulment, parentage actions, property division, child custody, visitation, child support, spousal support, and domestic violence restraining orders, etc. Heather has worked with high-profile and high-net-worth clients and has successfully navigated high-conflict custody disputes and complex financial issues.
Heather understands that her clients are going through a difficult time, and she strives to treat her clients as she would want to be treated if she were in the same position, with compassion, guidance, and focused direction. Heather’s professional and practical experience, along with her genuine desire to resolve conflict, sets her apart from many other attorneys. Heather has an innate ability to talk to anyone and make them feel at ease. Recognizing that what works for some families does not work for others, Heather endeavors to find creative solutions for each and everyone of her clients.
