Heather Bennett is a business and employment litigator with 25 years of experience handling complex matters in California state and federal courts, arbitration, administrative proceedings, and appeals. Heather has developed strong analytical and written advocacy skills through extensive experience handling complex litigation, and her broad background also features entertainment litigation, including general counsel positions held in music and television.

Ms. Bennett is admitted to practice before the California Supreme Court, all four U.S. District Courts in California, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. She also brings international experience to her litigation practice, having handled international litigation and transactions. She speaks French and Italian, with additional Spanish language experience.

Ms. Bennett earned her J.D. from McGeorge School of Law, where she studied intellectual property and international litigation. She completed an intensive summer program that included a mini-pupillage with a British barrister in London and international human rights study in Salzburg, Austria. She also studied at the Sorbonne in Paris and in Turin, Italy. Prior to beginning her practice, she was a Law Clerk for the United States Department Of Justice – U.S. Attorney’s Office, Eastern District of California (Civil Division).
