Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Kim was an associate in the corporate department of Orrick, Herrington and Sutcliffe, working primarily with emerging technology companies and strategic investors on a broad range of transactions. Ms. Kim started her career in the General Practice/Mergers & Acquisitions group of Sullivan & Cromwell in New York City.
Ms. Kim graduated Order of the Coif from Cornell Law School. At Cornell, she served as Senior Notes Editor of the Cornell Law Review, an honors fellow for the lawyering program, a student representative for the Intellectual Property and Technology Society and Vice President (Entertainment) of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society. She was awarded the CALI Excellence for Future Award in Intellectual Property.
