Overview

Joshua M. LeVasseur is a 2019 graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, where he was the Managing Executive Editor on the Michigan Journal of Environmental and Administrative Law. After graduating from law school, Mr. LeVasseur clerked for U.S. Magistrate Judge Willie J. Epps, Jr. of the Western District of Missouri. Prior to joining Sacks, Glazier, Franklin, Lodise, McMurtrey & Scheerer, LLP, he was a litigation associate at O'Melveny & Myers, LLP, where his practice largely focused on complex securities issues and major financial institutions.

Outside the practice of law, Mr. LeVasseur has a background in political organizing and fundraising, including Congresswoman Julia Brownley's 2012 run for the U.S. House of Representatives and the 2014 Michigan gubernatorial campaign of former-Congressman Mark Schauer. Most recently, Mr. LeVasseur worked as a Regional Voter Protection Director with Organize NH - an arm of the New Hampshire Democratic Party and the Biden campaign - during the 2020 Presidential election. He earned a BA in Political Science from the University of Michigan in 2011.
