Keith Holmes has formed and represented a broad range of corporate, partnership, limited liability company and other business ventures in all business areas served by the firm, particularly in real estate, financing, securities and merger and acquisitions. In particular he has represented commercial banks, bank holding companies, lending and wealth management companies for over 35 years. One of California’s leading lawyers in the area, he has represented buyers, sellers, boards of directors and investors in numerous banking mergers, acquisitions and branch sales. Representation includes matters before the SEC, FDIC, Comptroller of the Currency, Federal Reserve Board, and the California Department of Business Oversight, including enforcement and compliance. His business law practice includes creating and counseling partnerships, limited liability companies and joint ventures in financial services, wealth management, real estate, entertainment and other businesses. Mr. Holmes also handles the acquisition, disposition and financing of significant real estate assets, and the work-out of distressed properties and secured loans for real estate investment funds and lenders.

Mr. Holmes has been AV rated by Martindale Hubbell for many years, its highest rating, and is a California “super lawyer.” He received his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1977 (“Order of the Coif”,) and served as an editor of its law review.
