Leon Lam, Esq. is an Associate Attorney handling personal injury cases, with prior experience in workers’ compensation, employment law, and municipal law – including civil rights litigation. His professional philosophy is simple: fight hard, stay honest, and never lose sight of the human story behind every case. Leon believes great lawyering is both strategic and compassionate – knowing when to push, when to listen, and how to achieve results that truly make a difference.

While in law school, Leon participated in the Individual Representation Clinic, where he represented clients in wage and hour disputes through the school’s free legal aid program. He successfully secured favorable settlements for his clients after rigorous negotiations with opposing counsel – an experience that reaffirmed his belief in the power of advocacy to deliver fairness and accountability.

Leon became an attorney because he believes everyone deserves a fair chance, regardless of their background or financial means. Growing up, he witnessed how easily everyday people can be taken advantage of when they don’t have someone in their corner. That experience drives his work today – standing up for individuals who need a strong advocate when the odds are stacked against them. Leon has professional working proficiency in Vietnamese and is dedicated to ensuring that members of the Vietnamese community have access to quality legal representation.

Outside of the courtroom, Leon volunteers with the Civil Air Patrol, where he mentors youth in leadership and character development. He also serves as the coach of San José State University’s Mock Trial team – the very program that first inspired his passion for litigation. Through mentorship, Leon hopes to help students grow into confident advocates, just as others once helped him.

When he’s not volunteering or practicing law, Leon enjoys cheering on the Golden State Warriors, and indulging his love of aviation.
