Overview
Ms. Dale has experience in all facets of civil litigation from the initial investigation and inception of a case through the appellate level. She has represented defendants in complex litigation matters including products and premises liability, wrongful death, unfair business practices, dental malpractice, and environmental claims. Ms. Dale has represented plaintiffs in premises liability, employment, and personal injury cases.
Ms. Dale has substantial law and motion experience and has won summary judgment and adjudication motions for the defendants in high-value personal injury cases. Prior to joining Trepanier Tajima LLP, Ms. Dale was an associate with Crockett & Associates practicing complex civil litigation. Before that, she was at the Irvine office of Clausen Miller, P.C. where she balanced civil litigation practice with insurance coverage analyses focusing on construction defect, environmental, and errors and omissions matters. Recent cases have included premises liability matters that resolved at mediation and a case in which Ms. Dale successfully argued a defense obligation was owed to a client under a homeowners’ insurance policy where the insurance company had initially denied coverage.
Ms. Dale received her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1997 and graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies. She attended the Universitat de Barcelona in Barcelona, Spain (1992-1993) and completed a judicial externship with the Honorable Edmundo S. Hendler at the Cámara Nacional de Apelaciónes en Lo Penal Económico (Federal Court of Appeals for Economic Crimes) in Buenos Aires, Argentina (1995). As a judicial external, Ms. Dale assisted Dr. Hender with an academic paper advocating the implementation of jury trials in Argentina which was later presented at an international law symposium. Ms. Dale is fluent in Spanish.
Ms. Dale is admitted to practice in California state courts as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Central, Eastern, Southern, and Northern Districts of California.
