Representative Cases

  • Representation of a high-profile entertainer in a multi-forum dispute involving fraud, corporate-governance misconduct, and misuse of NIL rights. Successfully defeated multiple procedural challenges—including demurrer, motion to quash, forum non conveniens, and motion to disqualify counsel—while prosecuting affirmative claims for financial misconduct and unauthorized exploitation of publicity rights.
  • Representation of a prominent businessperson and his commercial entities against an international and AI-powered defamation and extortion ring. Successfully removed hundreds of thousands of false and defamatory articles regarding the clients and secured a favorable settlement and stipulated judgment with numerous once-anonymous wrongdoers after aggressively acting to unveil their true identities in discovery.
  • Representation of a music industry mogul and his recording and publishing entities in a 50-million dollar arbitration dispute. Secured a completely absolving interim and final award, defeating the claims and numerous efforts by the opposing counsel to expand the arbitrator’s governing rules and authority.
  • Representation of a music-rights administrator in a dispute with a licensing collective concerning unreasonable catalog freezes, unsubstantiated claims of wrongdoing, and royalty-payment delays.
  • Secured favorable settlement for a songwriter litigating against top-selling artist and his lead producer who attempted to deny the client credit and owed substantial compensation for his original contributions to a Billboard chart-topping single that had earned millions of dollars in royalties.
  • Secured favorable settlement for scripted television writer/producer in private arbitration against a major production company that attempted to avoid its credit and payment obligations to the client.
  • Representation of world-renowned model and socialite in numerous intellectual property and publicity rights disputes against photographers and designers involving alleged copyright and trademark infringements and the client’s purported uses of images featuring her own likeness.
  • Representation of high-net-worth tenants in residential property litigation involving liability for fire damage arising out of the 2025 Palisades fires, wrongful withholding of a substantial security deposit, and unlawful “self-help” statutory violations.
  • Successfully handled thousands of takedowns, registrar-level actions, and pre-litigation resolutions involving domain misappropriation, false and defamatory articles, and unauthorized NIL uses.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
