Washington Rothbaum is an accomplished attorney and seasoned executive with over two decades of experience in corporate governance, legal operations, and strategic business planning. Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at J&Y Law Firm, Monica is dedicated to driving organizational growth and enhancing operational efficiency. Before joining J&Y Law Firm, Monica held key leadership positions, including Chief Operating Officer at Bogin, Munns, & Munns, P.A., a full-service law firm with a significant personal injury practice. There, she optimized firm operations, implemented cloud-based management systems, and significantly improved case conversion rates. Her experience as Managing Director and Deputy General Counsel at the American Automobile Association, Inc. further honed her skills in contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, and team development. Monica began her legal career with prestigious clerkships, serving under Justice David H. Souter at the United States Supreme Court and Chief Judge Harry T. Edwards at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit. These experiences laid a strong foundation for her successful career in law and management. Monica holds a Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law and an MBA from Rollins College, where she graduated as valedictorian. She also earned a Master of Public Affairs from Princeton University and a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. A member of the bars in Washington D.C., Florida, Maryland, and New York, she is proficient in Spanish.
