Overview
A co-founder of Kashfian & Kashfian, LLP, Robert A. Kashfian started his own law practice to provide individualized client services, along with effective legal representation, to a select clientele. Beginning with the creation of KASHFIAN LAW CORPORATION in 2009, Mr. Kashfian, along with his twin brother Ryan Kashfian, quickly garnered the confidence and acclaim of a variety of clients ensuring a successful practice. Mr. Kashfian's dedication to providing the highest quality of legal, consultation and litigation services, allowed for prominent individuals as well as corporations to seek his counsel.
His work focuses on complex Real Estate litigation, International Law, Contract and Corporate governance matters. Mr. Kashfian has also handled a wide variety of high profile defense cases in State court on a broad range of issues, as well as in United States Federal Court, including Trademark and Copyright litigation. Mr. Kashfian provides counsel to an array of international celebrity clients, athletes, department stores and a number of fashion and clothing designers. With a wealth of experience and a large client base, Robert Kashfian and brother Ryan Kashfian created Kashfian & Kashfian, LLP in order to facilitate a larger organization to provide an extended array of services and exceptional care on complex legal matters involving their clients. They have instituted an effective and unmatched full service law firm with trial experience and practice.
Mr. Kashfian received his Bachelor's Degree in both Political Science and International Relations cum laude from the University of Southern California, and shortly thereafter received his Master's Degree in International Relations from the University of Southern California's prestigious School of International Relations. In order to depart from the theoretical and research based degree to gain a more practical experience, Mr. Kashfian received a Professional Master's Degree in Public Administration and Policy from the University of Southern California's nationally-ranked School of Policy, Planning and Development. Following numerous research, consulting and field positions, Mr. Kashfian, with the proper analytical methods and functional tools in hand, completed his Juris Doctorate in less than two years, at Southwestern Law School's competitive SCALE Program. While in law school, he clerked at various law firms, ranging from small to mid-size. In addition, he served as an editor for Southwestern Law School's Journal of International Media & Entertainment Law. Mr. Kashfian was also an extern at the United States District Court for the Central District of California, under the direction of Chief United States Magistrate Judge Stephen J. Hillman. Mr. Kashfian is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, all state courts of California, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, as well as the District of Columbia, Court of Appeals and other courts across the country.
Mr. Kashfian taught as a Professor of Law at Glendale University School of Law, in the Los Angeles Area. Mr. Kashfian was also appointed as Professor of Business and Law, at California State University, Northridge, within the Business Law Department of the College of Business and Economics.
Mr. Kashfian sits on the Board of Directors of The LEV Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and empowering our youth to lead active, balanced and responsible lifestyles. Born in Orlando, Florida, Mr. Kashfian is fluent in Farsi and is also proficient in Hebrew. Aside from his practice, he continues to work as a consultant on program and policy evaluations for public, private and non-profit entities. Mr. Kashfian is also the holder of two issued United States Patents and two pending patent applications for sign displays and their apparatus.
He currently divides his time between the Greater Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. Metro Areas. Mr. Kashfian is Managing Partner of Kashfian & Kashfian, LLP.
