Overview
Sabrina Medler is an Associate of Allred, Maroko & Goldberg. She represents employees in harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination matters. She also represents adult and child survivors of sexual violence.
Ms. Medler earned her law degree from UCLA School of Law with specializations in Public Interest Law & Policy and Critical Race Studies. During her time at UCLA, Ms. Medler pursued impact litigation and policy at the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Southern California’s LGBTQ, Gender, and Reproductive Justice Project; worker collective action through UNITE HERE Local 11; government representation of low-income workers at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) Los Angeles Legal Unit; and civil litigation at plaintiff employment firms Allred, Maroko & Goldberg and Haeggquist & Eck. Ms. Medler also provided pro bono legal aid, assisting survivors of domestic abuse with VAWA and U-VISA petitions as well as non-binary and transgender individuals with gender and name change petitions. Ms. Medler served as an editor for the UCLA Journal of Gender and Law and argued for LGBTQ rights in the Williams Institute Moot Court Competition. As an undergraduate at Stanford University, Ms. Medler supported campus survivors of sexual assault in advocacy efforts concerning Title IX compliance at undergraduate institutions. Ms. Medler is trained in trauma-informed lawyering.
Ms. Medler is a former professional dancer and, outside of work, she enjoys taking jazz, hip-hop, and contemporary dance classes in Los Angeles.
