Scott McDowell is an experienced transactional attorney in the firm's Entertainment Department with a focus on the music industry. He has handled a wide array of music publishing, recorded music and distribution agreements for individuals, groups and companies. Prior to joining the firm, he served as Executive Vice President, Head of Legal & Business Affairs for Warner Chappell Music, Inc. where he oversaw all Legal and Business Affairs activities of the company. Before that, he served as Director, Legal & Business Affairs for Warner Records handling manufacturing, production and clearance issues. Mr. McDowell began his career in the music industry at Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI), one of the largest performing rights societies in the world. Mr. McDowell has been recognized by Billboard Magazine as a Top Music Lawyer.
