Sofie Jackson - Los Angeles, CA

Sofie Jackson joined Makarem & Associates as a law clerk in 2023 while attending Loyola Law School and became an Associate Attorney following her graduation in 2025. Her practice primarily focuses on wage and hour matters, including class action litigation, and also includes representing employees in cases involving wrongful termination, sexual harassment, retaliation, and discrimination.

While in law school, she gained hands-on litigation experience as a member of the Makarem & Associates team, working closely with clients and attorneys throughout all stages of employment cases.

She completed her undergraduate education at the University of California, Los Angeles in 2022, graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Asian American Studies. In 2025, she earned her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School and became a member of the Makarem & Associates team.
