Overview

Kara D. McDonald is Of Counsel with Kesselman Brantly Stockinger LLP. Her experience includes representing clients in complex litigation in federal and state courts and in arbitration. She has litigated on behalf of diverse clients in a variety of areas, including wage and hour, copyright, trademark and trade dress, idea submission, licensing, profit participation and accounting, and large class actions.

Ms. McDonald received her J.D., summa cum laude, in 2002 from Washington and Lee University School of Law, where she graduated first in her class and served as Lead Articles Editor for the Washington and Lee Law Review. Ms. McDonald received her B.A., summa cum laude, in 1999 from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Prior to joining KBS, Ms. McDonald was a senior associate at Irell and Manella LLP. She also served as a law clerk at both the federal appellate and district court levels, clerking for the Honorable John M. Rogers of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the Honorable Jennifer B. Coffman of the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky.
