Attorney Information

Overview

Megan is a Napa native devoted to serving her community. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science at U.C. Davis in 2006 and began attending U.C. Davis School of Law that same year with the goal of returning to Napa to practice law and be close to her family. During law school, Megan worked as an editor for the Business Law Journal, served on the Moot Court Board, and dedicated time as a Public Service Law Program Scholar. Megan also performed pro bono work for Legal Aid of Marin and interned at the Colusa County Counsel’s office. Her exceptional work at Legal Aid of Marin earned her the Wiley W. Manuel Award for Pro Bono Legal Services.

After obtaining her J.D. from U.C. Davis School of Law in 2009, Megan returned to Napa to establish her legal career in her hometown. She gained valuable experience working in litigation and fair housing, and then dedicated ten years to Coombs & Dunlap, LLP, where she gained extensive experience in estate planning, probate, trust administration, and conservatorships. Megan served on the board of directors for Napa County Women Lawyers (Past President), and the Napa County Young Lawyer Division (Past Secretary), where she and Trevor had the opportunity to serve on the board together.
Motivated by her ambition to help others, Megan does not stop at providing legal services for local families. Megan also volunteers her time with organizations that support students in Napa Valley. She served on the River School Board of Directors from 2014-2017, where she also acted as Vice President. Megan currently serves on the Board of Directors of Friends of New Tech, where she assists in fundraising to support New Technology High School, and on the Board of Directors of If Given a Chance, where she aids in providing support for Napa County high school students who have overcome extraordinary challenges.

In February 2021, Megan officially joined the Rose Law Firm of Napa Valley family. As a mother, jokester, and dedicated attorney with remarkable ambition and compassion, she fit seamlessly into the team.
