Jessica Meltser - Oakland, CA

Jessica Meltser has a history and commitment to being an advocate for individuals in need. Most recently she worked as a research assistant at a personal injury and class action law firm where she assisted attorneys and paralegals in legal research and fact gathering for new cases.

During her final semester of law school, Jessica was a judicial extern for the Hon. Jacqueline Scott Corley, a magistrate judge for the U.S. District Court, Northern District of California.

During law school, Jessica was the mentorship chair of the Women's Law Association and a member of the University of San Francisco Law Review and moot court. She also served as a research assistant, researching an article on jury instructions in antitrust cases, and as a legal intern at the Capital Post-Conviction Project of Louisiana.

Before law school, Jessica was an advocate for holocaust survivors at Bet Tzedek Legal Services in Los Angeles where she conducted client intakes and prepared applications for Holocaust reparation programs including the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany. Her pro bono work earned her the Wiley W. Manuel Certificate for Pro Bono Legal Services.
