Ryan W. Streckfus, Esq. is an associate attorney at Christy, Keith & Donnell Family Law Group, where he represents clients in all aspects of family law, including dissolution of marriage, complex property division, child and spousal support, and child custody disputes. He has been practicing family law for over a decade, and has successfully litigated at all stages of the family law process. He is especially skilled in obtaining and defending domestic violence restraining orders, having litigated a high volume of cases in this area. His experience on both sides of these proceedings allows him to navigate them with precision and strategic insight.

Prior to joining Christy, Keith & Donnell Family Law Group, Mr. Streckfus served as President and Managing Attorney of a Southern California law firm, where he oversaw a substantial caseload of complex family law matters from inception through resolution. Earlier in his career, he was an associate attorney at another Southern California family law firm, where he developed a strong foundation in the field. Over the course of his career, Mr. Streckfus has effectively advocated for clients at every stage of litigation, securing numerous favorable outcomes, including successful results at trial.

Mr. Streckfus understands that family law matters often arise during some of the most difficult and uncertain periods in a client’s life. He is committed to guiding clients through these challenges with clarity, responsiveness, and a steady focus on long-term stability. Known for his thorough preparation and pragmatic approach, he works to achieve results that protect his clients’ interests, whether through strategic negotiation or trial.

Mr. Streckfus earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from California State University, Fullerton in 2012 and his Juris Doctor from Chapman University, Dale E. Fowler School of Law in 2015. While in law school, he received the CALI Award for Excellence in Constitutional Law, and his work contributed to a brief submitted in the United States Supreme Court case Friedrichs v. California Teachers Association. He was actively involved in student leadership, serving as the A.B.A Ninth Circuit Student Vice President for the Public Interest Law Section and as a member of the law school’s Mock Trial Board. He also gained valuable practical experience through internships with the California Public Utilities Commission and the Orange County Counsel’s Office.

Following graduation, Mr. Streckfus worked in Washington D.C., as an intern with the Ripon Society, a centrist public policy think tank, where he focused on research and public policy reform initiatives. He remains a committed advocate for the California State University system and its mission to expand access to higher education for students from underserved and economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

Outside the office, Mr. Streckfus enjoys classic films, spending time at the beach, and taking long walks with his wife.
