Audrey Kelly is a Senior Trial Attorney at Michael & Associates Criminal Defense Attorneys, where she represents individuals accused of DWI, drug crimes, assault offenses, theft, white-collar crimes, and other misdemeanor and felony charges throughout Texas. A former prosecutor and seasoned criminal defense lawyer, she brings more than a decade of courtroom experience and a comprehensive understanding of the criminal justice system from both sides of the courtroom.

A native Texan, Ms. Kelly's interest in criminal law began long before she became an attorney. At just 18 years old, she started working in a criminal defense office, gaining early exposure to criminal investigations, court proceedings, and client advocacy. She earned her bachelor's degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in only three years while competing as a dual-sport collegiate athlete. She later earned her Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School.

Ms. Kelly began her legal career as a prosecutor, where she handled a wide range of criminal matters ranging from traffic offenses and misdemeanors to serious felony prosecutions. That experience provided her with firsthand knowledge of how law enforcement agencies investigate cases, how prosecutors evaluate evidence, and how criminal cases are prepared for trial. Following her time as a prosecutor, Ms. Kelly co-founded the Denton-based law firm Jarvis & Kelly, where she served as managing partner for more than a decade.
