Attorney Information
Overview
I grew up in Southern California, my journey began at Claremont McKenna College in Southern California, where I pursued my undergraduate education. I then earned my law degree from the University of California School of Law, Berkeley. While at Berkeley, I engaged in a small business practicum where I discovered my passion for helping individuals choose and start a business or a nonprofit.
About ten years ago, I relocated to Redding, California, drawn by my family’s desire for a more peaceful, family-friendly environment. Since then, I have been working as a lawyer with another attorney who has been a great mentor and friend and I have gained an understanding of the prominent local legal community so that I can offer my clients personalized and compassionate legal services. My passion for the law is evident in my ability to delve into complex legal topics for hours, always striving to provide the best possible outcomes for my clients.
Outside of my professional life, I am a devoted mother to two young children and I have my niece and nephew that I love. I cherish my time with them, actively engaging in their hobbies and supporting their growth. With a large family, I enjoy exploring Redding and discovering new food places together, fostering a sense of community and connection.
I am also an enthusiastic supporter of my clients’ businesses and take great pleasure in witnessing their achievements and growth.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
