Overview
I was born in Mexico and grew up in Carpinteria, a small beach town near Santa Barbara. I am proud to call California home. To me, California is a place where different cultures, traditions, and stories come together to create something truly special. From the Spanish found in our street names to the food, music, and communities that make this state unique, California has shaped who I am and how I serve others.
I earned my undergraduate degree from Claremont McKenna College and my law degree from UC Berkeley School of Law. My parents built our family’s livelihood through their taqueria, and every taco my father sold helped make my education possible. Their hard work, resilience, and sacrifice taught me that success is earned through dedication, service, and perseverance.
Those lessons continue to guide the way I practice law today.
For more than a decade, I have had the privilege of serving families, individuals, and business owners throughout Northern California. I understand that behind every estate plan, business transaction, or legal dispute is a person who wants to protect what matters most and create a brighter future for the people they love.
As a bilingual attorney, I proudly serve clients in both English and Spanish. I believe legal guidance should be empowering, not overwhelming. My goal is to explain even the most complex legal issues in a way that is clear, practical, and easy to understand, so my clients can move forward with confidence.
I also have a deep appreciation for entrepreneurs because I am one myself. Growing up in a family of small business owners gave me firsthand experience with the challenges and rewards of building something meaningful. I know what it takes to create opportunities, protect your hard work, and plan for the future, and I am passionate about helping others do the same.
Inspired by California, my community, and the values I learned from my family, Eterna Law was built on the belief that thoughtful planning today creates lasting security for tomorrow. Whether you are protecting your family, growing your business, navigating a legal challenge, or preparing your legacy, my team and I are committed to providing trusted guidance with integrity, compassion, and care.
We are here to help you protect what you have built, prepare for what comes next, and create a legacy that lasts for generations.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
