Prior to attending law school, Mr. Shahidzadeh worked for an international law firm that handled criminal, personal injury, family law, and bankruptcy cases both in and outside of the United States. During law school, Mr. Shahidzadeh became a certified law clerk and worked closely with the ACLU handling immigration issues. During his time at the University of California Irvine, School of Law, Mr. Shahidzadeh was extremely active in the Immigrant Rights Clinic and gained experience handling bond proceedings under the supervision of attorneys Annie Lai and Sameer Ashar.

After graduating law school, Mr. Shahidzadeh was welcomed at the Law Offices of Kathleen G. Alvarado as a Law Clerk, then as an attorney after he passed the California Bar Exam.
