Michael P. Dastas is a California Licensed Attorney and Sacramento native, that is a senior litigation attorney Miller & Associates, Attorneys LLP. Prior to Miller & Associates, Attorneys LLP, Michael worked for the International Rescue Committee (IRC), where he provided critical legal support to asylum seekers and individuals seeking humanitarian protection. A passionate advocate for client rights, Michael earned his B.A. in History from UC Davis in 2018 and his J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 2022, where his involvement in the Community Legal Services Clinic deepened his commitment to providing representation for the community.

Michael’s work advocating for asylum seekers and individuals seeking humanitarian protection has sharpened his legal skills in emotionally complex, high-stakes cases. Many of which overlap with issues commonly seen in family law, such as child custody, domestic violence, and family reunification.
