John Sciacca is a partner at Powers Miller. His primary practice area is personal injury with an emphasis in defense. He has also tried cases to verdict as a first chair attorney and has also handled a number of arbitrations as a first chair attorney.
The majority of John's cases involve large loss with traumatic injuries and wrongful death. He has taken and defended over 1,000 depositions and participated in over 500 mediations and settlement conferences.
John also investigates insurance fraud with Special Investigations Units (SIU) for insurance companies and has handled over 100 SIU files.
John has prevailed on a number of dispositive motions at both the Superior Court and Appellate Court levels involving Anti-SLAPP litigation, motions for summary judgment and jury trial appeals.
With more than a decade spent providing clients with skilled guidance in these areas, John's strength is in providing objective, concise, and straightforward evaluations to clients. His experience and reputation with opposing counsel help him resolve cases efficiently and effectively.
