Steven R. Burlingham has had the pleasure of serving the greater Sacramento area for more than 40 years as an attorney and advocate. Mr. Burlingham has worked for Gary, Till & Burlingham since 1982 and became a managing partner soon after. Mr. Burlingham received his degree in History from Biola University and graduated summa cum laude. Mr. Burlingham also earned his juris doctor from McGeorge School of Law in 1979 and an LLM (taxation) in 1982. He has lived and practiced in the greater Sacramento area since 1979.
Mr. Burlingham practices primarily in divorce and adoption law and is certified by the California State Bar as a Certified Family Law Specialist. He also works extensively in trusts, probate, trust administration, conservatorship and guardianship law. Mr. Burlingham seeks to assist his clients in finding comprehensive and effective solutions for their family law, divorce, adoption and trust and estate planning matters. Mr. Burlingham prioritizes understanding his clients' personal situations and tailoring solutions to fit their best interests. When Mr. Burlingham is not actively working on his cases or managing the firm, he is spending time with his wife, adult children and his grandchildren. Mr. Burlingham teaches at his church and is President of the Sacramento Chapter of the Christian Legal Society. He also enjoys reading a good book, hiking, running and bird-watching.

Hired Attorney 2018-2019Attorney Steven Richard Burlingham abandoned my mother his client on a December 6th court proceeding. The evidence will prove every claim that I make in my review. Attorney Steven Richard Burlingham was retained for 10,000 dollars to represent my mother and myself on a upcoming December 6th court proceeding. As soon as he received the investigative report stating that court investigator wanted my mother his client to be represented by a court appointed attorney, Steven Richard Burlingham made this happen. The evidence will prove Attorney Steven Richard Burlingham, forged my signature on a Substitution of Attorney and used it to release himself from representing my mother his client. The evidence shows on December 6th he deliberately failed to show up to court which allowed the court to appoint a court appointed attorney to represent my mother his client. From December 6th through January 13th Attorney Steven Richard Burlingham avoided my calls and visits to his office, then on January 13th 2019, Attorney Steven Richard Burlingham sent me a message saying that I never retained him to represent my mother or myself and he kept the 10 thousand dollar retainer, Now my Mother is in a care facility lost her freedom, and her houses all because Attorney Steven Richard Burlingham decided to throw my mother to the curb like a piece of garbage. Please don't trust this Attorney
