Overview
Zara is an associate who joined the firm in 2022. Her practice specializes in litigation and tort defense. Zara graduated from the University of London with and LLB and then went on to complete her LLM from Florida Coastal School of Law. Zara was admitted to the California State Bar in 2020.
Prior to joining Powers Miller, Zara worked in mergers and acquisitions at a corporate law firm in Karachi, Pakistan. After moving to the U.S., she completed her masters in Law and interned at a civil rights non-profit in Sacramento. Zara also has experience clerking for an immigration law firm in Sacramento which ran a free monthly immigration clinic. Following admission to California State Bar, Zara worked as an attorney for an ADA defense firm in Loomis.
