Tanveer Moundi - Sacramento, CA

Tanveer Moundi joined the Duggan McHugh team in February 2026 as an Associate Attorney. She is a California attorney admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California. She brings award-winning legal research and writing skills along with a reputation for initiative, dependability, and strong client service. Tanveer holds a B.A. in Urban Studies and Planning from UC San Diego and a J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law, where she earned multiple academic honors, including the Dean's Merit Scholarship.

During law school, Tanveer distinguished herself as both a published writer and an editor for the Golden Gate University School of Law Social Justice Journal, demonstrating her dedication to thoughtful legal scholarship. She also served as Chief Administrative Officer of the Business Law Association, supporting organizational initiatives and student professional development.

Since Tanveer's admission to the CA State Bar in 2024, her legal experience spans state government, private practice, nonprofit advocacy, and corporate regulatory work, giving her a versatile foundation for litigation and advisory matters across diverse practice areas. She is an active member of the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California.

Outside of her professional work, she enjoys attending Sacramento Kings games whenever she can.
