Overview

Daniel DiRe has been a member of the California Bar since 1985. Mr. DiRe handles cases involving a wide array of employment-related claims, including sexual harassment, race and disability discrimination, defamation, and noncompete issues. Mr. DiRe also handles class action cases involving violations of state and federal wage laws. In addition, he regularly counsels clients on a broad range of employment issues. This experience ranges from advising clients on how to avoid litigation all the way through taking matters to trial when necessary.

Mr. DiRe also specializes in complex business litigation, real estate and partnership disputes, claims involving breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, trade secret misappropriation and unfair competition. Mr. DiRe has represented clients in trials before judges, juries, arbitrators and administrative agencies and has obtained multimillion-dollar trial verdicts and settlements on behalf of his clients.

Before joining the firm, Mr. DiRe was a partner in his own firm, where he headed the litigation department. In addition, Mr. DiRe is an accomplished communicator and a skilled negotiator. Mr. DiRe believes that client communication is the key to harmonious relationships with clients.

Mr. DiRe graduated from the University of Montana Law School in 1982 and was member of a Bozeman, Montana, law firm until relocating to California in 1985. He received a bachelor's degree in business administration from Montana State University in 1978.

Mr. DiRe is a member of the American Association for Justice, the California Trial Lawyers Association, the San Diego Trial Lawyers Association, the Consumer Attorneys Association for Southern California and the American Bar Association. He is admitted to practice before the State Bar of California, numerous California federal courts, the Colorado Bar Association, Colorado state and federal courts, the Montana Bar Association and Montana state and federal courts.
