We also won a $1,700,000 jury verdict for a service member whose ankle broke in a freeway collision.
Our appellate work shapes California law. Kabran v. Sharp Memorial Hospital clarified post-trial jurisdictional deadlines, while Marron v. Superior Court broadened protections for seniors. We overturned a trial court's sovereign immunity grant in APMC v. Superior Court, reversed a $684,000 prejudgment attachment in Kemp Bros. Construction v. Titan Electric and won a new trial in Miller v. Collectors Universe. Through Lee v. Dynamex, we raised standards for precertification discovery in class actions.
