Overview

Laura Stewart was born and raised in Southern California and graduated (cum laude) from UCLA with a BA in Philosophy in 1994. She graduated from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento in 1998 and was admitted to the California Bar the same year. Before focusing her practice on insurance coverage matters, Laura practiced in the areas of HMO regulatory compliance, personal injury, professional liability, Americans with Disabilities Act, construction defect, toxic tort, and premises liability litigation. She is admitted to practice in all California State courts and the United States District Court, Southern, Central, Eastern and Northern Districts.

Laura is a member of the State Bar of California, the American Bar Association (Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee), and the San Diego County Bar Association. She joined Walsh Lea Furcolo LLC as an Associate in February 2011.

Laura enjoys the beach, cooking, wine-tasting, and live music.
