About Phillip Stackhouse

Prior to practicing law as a private citizen, military attorney Phillip Stackhouse served twenty-two years in the United States Marine Corps. He retired as a JAG officer from the Marines in 2006. During his stint in the Marines, Mr. Stackhouse earned an international reputation as an aggressive, thorough, and respected trial attorney, often representing military personnel in extremely high-profile cases.

Mr. Stackhouse has tried well over a hundred cases as both a defense attorney and prosecutor and supervised the defense and prosecution of hundreds more. He has represented clients in a wide variety of military matters, ranging from homicide to perjury, successfully handling criminal matters across the U.S., Europe, the Far East, and the Middle East. As a Marine, he received several personal awards for outstanding service as well as an award for outstanding service as an attorney by the Judge Advocate's Association.
