Hired Law firm 2020Unprofessional and greedy does not even begin to describe this woman! Lucy is a great saleswoman and pretender when she wants your $$$$ but she doesn't even spend time for the very basic things, neither does she proofread. Lucy shows up late at court, and you have to pay her ridiculous amounts that she does not deserve to get her attention. You are better off to save the money and a ton of headache and not to deal with her incompetence and atrocious unprofessionalism.Mind you she is also vengeful. Look at her responses to her 1 star reviews saying they're all JB, instead of apologizing to the clients she swindled, or taking any responsibility! Do you want to trust someone with this kind of character and grotesque unprofessionalism? Now if I say more she'll say I'm fake too if she can't get the review to go down. She also has dozens of other 1 star reviews at the "not recommended" reviews. hmmmGuys Lucy will get you more into trouble and will get you pay her for stuff you don't even need representation or need that much legal problem. Lucy has no compassion for you, just wants to get in your pocket!

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
