Firm Information
Overview
At Hopper Hopper & Strebe LLP, we understand that family law can touch some of the most important parts of a person’s life. From decisions about marriage and divorce to questions involving children, parental rights and family safety, these matters deserve careful legal attention. From our San Francisco, California, office, available by appointment only, we provide representation designed around the specific circumstances and objectives of each client.
Our firm is led by partners Jason P. Hopper, Jessica L. Hopper and Michael R. Strebe. Together, we serve clients dealing with a variety of family-related legal challenges and provide guidance intended to bring greater clarity to complicated situations. We believe clients should understand where they stand legally, what choices are available and what steps may help protect their interests.
We assist with divorce proceedings and disputes involving child custody and child support. We also handle adoption matters and cases involving domestic violence and neglect. In each of these areas, we recognize the importance of balancing legal considerations with the personal realities affecting our clients and their families.
Our practice extends to issues involving fathers’ rights, same-sex family law and LGBTQIA+ family concerns. We welcome the opportunity to represent families with different backgrounds and structures, and understand that conventional approaches may not always address the specific questions a client is facing.
We also take on complex cases involving the international or out-of-state removal of minor children. Because these disputes can involve urgent decisions and significant consequences for parents and children, we approach them with careful preparation and focused advocacy.
We do not believe family law should be approached with a one-size-fits-all strategy. Instead, we work to understand the circumstances behind each case before developing a course of action. At Hopper Hopper & Strebe LLP, we remain accessible, thorough and committed to helping clients navigate difficult family transitions with informed guidance and purposeful representation. Our goal is to help clients move ahead with a better understanding of their rights and the legal options available to them.
